Neal D. Kravitz DMD, MS

Dr. Neal D. Kravitz is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He also serves as a clinical faculty member and research adviser at the University of Maryland and Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Kravitz is an dual Ivy-Leagued trained orthodontist who received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University (where he was Academic All-Ivy while playing for the Columbia Lions Football team), and received a Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (where he graduated as Valedictorian).

A prolific writer, Dr. Kravitz continues to publish his orthodontic technique and his remarkable cases in book chapters, educational guides, and numerous professional dental and orthodontic journals, including the AJO-DO, JCO, WJO, JADA, Angle Orthodontist, the Ontario Dentist Journal, and Orthodontic Products. He is viewed as leader in the field of orthodontics, currently serving on the editorial review board for seven refereed professional journals, the continuing education advisory board for dentalearning.net, and the clinical advisory board for Incognito® lingual braces, a committee comprised of less than ten orthodontists worldwide.

Dr. Kravitz lectures throughout the country and internationally on modern advancements in orthodontics, including early-interceptive treatment and invisible lingual braces. He has presented numerous times at the AAO, dental and orthodontic society meetings, and orthodontic residencies throughout the country, quickly building a reputation as one of the country’s most dynamic and sought-after speakers.

Dr. Kravitz has been featured in the local news, the Loudoun Times, Newsweek, and Orthodontic Products. He is recognized by his peers as a "Top-Orthodontist" throughout numerous Metropolitan magazines, including the Washingtonian, Northern Virginia, Virginia Living, Washington Family, Washington Parent (Favorite Doc winner), PoshSeven (formerly I AM Modern, voted Best in DC Suburbs winner), Orthodontic Products, OrthoTown, and more! He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontist, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Association and the Northern Virginia Orthodontic Study Club, where he is a recurrent speaker.
