Niya A. Jones MD, MPH

Niya Jones, M.D., MPH, is a cardiologist specializing in advanced heart failure at Christiana Care Health System’s Center for Heart & Vascular Health. Prior to joining Christiana Care, she was a cardiologist and medical director of the heart failure program at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey. Dr. Jones is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Jones earned her medical degree and Master of Public Health at Yale University. She completed an internal medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, a fellowship in cardiology at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., and an advanced heart failure and transplant fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Jones is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
