Oscar J. Juan Vidal, M.D., Ph.D. studied at the School of Medicine of Valencia University (1985-1991). and completes his post- graduated residency training in Medical Oncology at the Department of Medical Oncology and Haematology in the Hospital Clínico Universitario. Valencia. Spain (1992-1995). He got PhD Cum Laudem and Extraordinary Award in 2002 at the Universitat de València (“School of Medicine”), Valencia, Spain. Actually, he is working at the Department of Medical Oncology in Hospital La Fe, Valencia, Spain. He is a professor at the School of Medicine at the Catholic University San Vicente Martir, Valencia, Spain. The main field of activity is clinical and translational research in thoracic tumors. He has been the principal investigator in phase I, II, and III clinical trials dealing with Non-small cell lung cancer and small-cell lung cancer. He is the author/co-author of more than 90 congress communications, more than 30 book chapters, and more than 40 publications including New England Journal Medicine, Clinical Lung Cancer, Lancet Oncology, J Pain Symptom Manage, Eur J Cancer, Lung Cancer. He has member of American Society of Clínical Oncology (ASCO); European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO); Sociedad Española de Oncología Médica (SEOM) and Spanish Lung Cancer Group (SLCG).
