Paolo Severino MD, PhD

Dr. Paolo Severino graduated, with honors, in 2009 in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", subsequently in 2016, at the same university, he obtained, again with honors, a specialization in Cardiology. In 2015 he was the winner of the Ph.D. scholarship in Cardio-Thoraco-Vascular Physiopathology and Imaging at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". In 2014 he obtained the Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification at the Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Training Sector of the Umberto I General Hospital in Rome. In 2013 he was a Research Fellow at the Integrative Medical Sciences Department of Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), Rootstown, Ohio, USA. From 2016 to 2017 he was the Italian Representative for the International Working Group of the Early Career Section Leadership Council (ECSLC), American College of Cardiology (ACC). Since 2016 he has been attending the Ph.D. in Cardio-Thoraco-Vascular Imaging Pathophysiology at the Policlinico Umberto I in Rome. Since 2016 he has been Cardiologist Consultant at the Villa Margherita Nursing Home in Rome. From 2015 to 2016 he was the Medical Director of the K9 Rescue Italia Training Center accredited by ARES 118 Lazio. From 2014 to 2017 he was Assistant for Scientific Coordination for the Scientific Journal "Heart Failure Informer", then "Heart Informer" Ed. Hippocrates. The Dr. has participated in National and International Congresses of Cardiology as a speaker and scientific coordinator.
