Patrick J. Geraghty

Patrick J. Geraghty is chief executive officer (CEO) of Florida Blue. Prior to joining Florida Blue in 2011, Geraghty was president and CEO of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota (BCBSMN) where he also served on its board of trustees and the BCBSMN Foundation board.

Geraghty is active in leading professional and community organizations. He serves as the chair of the Florida Council of 100, a private, non-profit, non-partisan organization of Florida business leaders who advise the state’s governor on how to improve the economic growth of the state and the economic well-being of its residents. He also serves as a member of the board of the National Institute of Health Care Management (NIHCM), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the effectiveness, efficiency and quality of America’s health care system.
