Paul O’connell

Dr Paul O’Connell completed his medical training at the University of Queensland in 1983 and was admitted to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. Paul trained in radiology at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital in Brisbane and the Royal Infirmary in Edinborough before undertaking a neuroradiology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. Dr O’Connell has been the Director of Radiology at St. Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital. Dr O’Connell’s specialty interests are MRI, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging and pain management including radiofrequency ablations. Paul and a small group of colleagues opened Brisbane Private Imaging, a comprehensive private hospital radiology practice on Wickham Terrace.
