R. Scott Hawley

Scott Hawley is an Investigator and American Cancer Society Research Professor at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research in Kansas, USA. The goal of his research is to understand the mechanisms that control meiotic chromosome behavior at the molecular level. His focus is on elucidating the mechanisms by which chromosomes pair, the mechanism and control of recombination, and the mechanisms by which chiasmata ensure segregation.
