Ramzi Bouzidi MD

Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis and head of Orthopaedic Trauma at Mongi Slim Hospital of Tunis. Ramzi is a graduate of the University of the El Manar University of Tunis and he received an MD degree from the Faculty of Medicine. I completed four years of orthopedic training at the same University from July 1995 until November 1998, then in France from November 1998 until October 1999 as a resident Doctor in the unit of orthopedic surgery headed by Pr. Daniel Goutallier at CHU Henri Mondor, Creteil, France. He completed his training at Arago clinic of Paris and at Purpan Hospital of Toulouse in France. From 2000 until 2005: Orthopaedic surgeon at Charles Nicolle Hospital and academic Assistant at faculty of medicine of Tunis.

From 2005 until 2013: Associate Academic Professor at Charles Nicolle Hospital. Since 2013 he is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine of Tunis and head of the orthopedic department. He is a Board member (General Secretary) of Tunisian society of orthopedic surgery (SOTCOT), a Board and Founding member of Tunisian society of orthopedic research, and a redactor in chief of Tunisian orthopedic review. He is a Member of AO Trauma since 2009 and a Board and Founding member of the Tunisian chapter of AO Trauma. He is a Member of the AO Spine Foundation since 2010 and a Member of NASS (North American Spine Society) from 2011 until 2012. Being a general orthopedic surgeon, he currently focusing his interest on hip and knee arthroplasty, and adult spine surgery.
