Ravish Sachar MD, FACC

Dr. Ravish Sachar, M.D., FACC is the Founder of Contego Medical, LLC, and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Sachar serves as Physician-in-chief of the UNC Rex Heart & Vascular Hospital. He is a frequent lecturer at national and international conferences and has directed several teaching programs on carotid artery disease and peripheral vascular disease. He authored several publications, book chapters, and two textbooks on peripheral vascular intervention.

Dr. Sachar's clinical interests include carotid artery stenting, acute stroke intervention, peripheral vascular intervention, and critical limb ischemia. He is actively involved in clinical research. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Intervention at The Cleveland Clinic.
