Reinhard Brunkhorst DHL

Prof. Dr. Reinhard Brunkhorst, Chief Physician of the Clinic for Kidney, High Pressure and Vascular Diseases at KRH Klinikum Oststadt-Heidehaus, appointed honorary member at her annual conference. Thus, the company honors "the extraordinary achievements of Prof. Brunkhorst as the founding president". In 2008, he merged the Society for Nephrology (GfN) and the German Association for Clinical Nephrology (DAfKN) into DGfN.

During his time as President, Prof. Brunkhorst advocated the improvement of the communication and external impact of the German Society for Nephrology. So he pushed the expansion of the Internet presence, established a society journal and initiated a series of films for patients, in the meantime, four available on the company's pages on the topics of dialysis, hypertension, transplantation and prevention of kidney disease.
