Dr. Renate Bonin Schnabel, MD, MSc is a Deputy Clinic Director, Senior Physician, and Professor in cardiology at University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. She graduated from medical school in Mainz and received her medical training from the University of Edinburgh, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, and University Heart Center Hamburg. She performed a research fellowship at the Framingham Heart Study and received a master’s degree from Boston University. She works with epidemiological and clinical trials. Her research interest is in coronary artery disease/acute coronary syndrome and atrial fibrillation, gender differences, omics, and digital health for risk assessment and prevention.
