Renee M. Howard MD

Dr. Renee Howard completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at Children’s Hospital Oakland in 1988 after graduating from UCSF School of Medicine. She then practiced general pediatrics in San Francisco and Marin before returning to UCSF for dermatology residency from 1992-1995. She was Chief of Pediatric Dermatology at Children’s Hospital Oakland for 4 years followed by 16 years practicing general and pediatric dermatology in Marin and attending in the UCSF Pediatric Dermatology clinic. She returned to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland and Walnut Creek as Chief of Pediatric Dermatology and Director of Regional Pediatric Dermatology Outreach for the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. Her interests include dermatology education of pediatricians, acne, atopic dermatitis, fungal infections, and environmental and consumer issues in dermatology.
