Richard E. Strain, Jr MD

Dr. Richard Strain is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and the senior partner of the practice who specializes in the treatment of hip and knee arthritis as well as sports injuries. He performs many hip and knee replacements annually and is familiar with the latest surgical techniques and implants, including minimally-invasive surgery. In addition, he treats ligament and tendon injuries commonly seen in athletes such as anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears, meniscus tears, and rotator cuff or labral tears. Most of these conditions, if they require surgery, are done arthroscopically in a minimally-invasive fashion to speed up recovery after surgery. Dr. Strain also sees patients in the office for general orthopedic conditions.
