Rickesha Wilson MD

Dr. Rickesha Wilson is a Texas native currently residing in Cleveland, Ohio to complete fellowship training at one of the top hospitals in the country. She is currently pursuing board certification in general surgery and aspires to take a position as an academic surgeon in the Fall of 2021. Skills include general, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery with training in endoscopy with FES certification.

Rickesha has a passion for translational and clinical research and is actively in a research-focused two-year fellowship at Cleveland Clinic. She has been successful in writing and obtaining funding for small grants, has published scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals, and is trained in basic science research. Dr. Wilson has been awarded for excellence in teaching and leadership throughout her young career as a surgeon in training and plans to utilize those qualities throughout her career.
