Dr. Dan Davis is now in his twelfth year as an APMA Trustee, and is currently President of the APMA. He is a 1976 graduate of Bucknell University, majoring in Biology, and became the first All American in cross-country during his tenure in varsity competition. He continued his postgraduate education at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated in 1980. He completed a two- year training program at Parkview Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, and moved to Orange, Connecticut where he lives with his wife, Mary Anne, and his four children. In his free time, he is a high school soccer and basketball official.

He began his private practice in Bridgeport, CT, and joined the Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association at that time. He has been the chairman of the CPMA education committee/seminar committee for thirty years, and has served on all of the elected positions through the presidency. He served as president of the CPMA from 1997 – 1999. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is also a fellow of ASPS, ACPWC and ACFAS. Dr. Davis is CMET certified in wound care. Currently he serves as the podiatric director of the Saint Vincent’s Hospital Wound Care Center.
