Rodrigo Alcantara MD

Dr. Rodrigo Alcantara is a consultant radiologist and interventional breast imaging specialist at Hospital del Mar in Barcelona - Spain, with a special dedication to imaging in oncology clinical trials, interventional procedures in breast imaging, and breast cancer screening programs. He also practices as an Assistant Professor in the Medical School at Pompeu Fabra University and at the University of Barcelona. Dr. Alcántara Souza has been extensively working with CESM as a problem-solving tool and is now a pioneer in Contrast-Enhanced guided biopsy.
