Roland Hentschel is a neonatologist, pediatric intensive care specialist and pediatric pulmonologist. He works as a clinical researcher and Professor of Pediatrics at University of Freiburg, Germany. His special interest is in lung function measurement, ventilation, and malformations and diseases of the lung of newborns and preterm infants. Part of this scientific work was supported by the German Research Council (DFG).
