Dr. Ronica Nanda is a board-certified radiation oncologist and is an Associate Member of Moffitt Medical Group. She is the medical director of the Lykes Radiation Pavilion at Morton Plant Hospital. Dr. Nanda has extensive experience using cutting-edge technology in the treatment of breast, CNS, lung, and prostate cancers, as well as pediatric cancers.
Dr. Nanda’s primary research interests are on the late effects of radiation therapy and quality of life concerns associated with cancer treatment. She has presented and published numerous scientific articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Surgical Oncology, International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology and Physics, and the Journal of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and Cancer.
Dr. Nanda is a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the Society of Women in Radiation Oncology (SWRO), the American Radium Society (ARS), and the Children’s Oncology Group (COG). She serves on National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) guideline panels for pediatric cancers. Beyond clinical and academic pursuits, she enjoys working with medical students and residents to train the next generation of radiation oncologists. Dr. Nanda is passionate about providing the highest quality care and support to patients facing cancer.
