Ruth Hamilton PhD

Dr. Ruth Hamilton is a Consultant Clinical Scientist at the Royal Hospital for Children, NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde, Glasgow, UK. Her Ph.D. in 2005 investigated the electroretinogram in preterm infants and led to multiple investigations of prenatal influences on children's vision, including maternal diet, maternal methadone use and neonatal supplements. She has been an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow since 2007 and sits on the Board of the International Society for Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision, the British Society for Clinical Electrophysiology of Vision and the Association for Clinical Scientists (ACS).
