Sam is an experienced healthcare leader with a strong track record of successfully building large companies through organic and acquisitive growth strategies. He is the CEO and Co-Founder of Endodontic Practice Partners - a nationwide partnership of leading endodontic practices dedicated to helping endodontists grow their practices, focus on quality, and provide the best in class service to patients and referral sources.

Prior to founding Endodontic Practice Partners, he served as the Chief of Staff for LifePoint Health, where he led the hospital operator's $8b go-private and reverse triangular merger with Apollo Global Management. Prior to that, he served in progressive leadership roles with LifePoint and successfully sourced, closed, and integrated $1.25b in transactions for the company including hospitals, physician practices, ASCs, imaging centers, SNFs, home health, and hospice agencies.

Prior to his career in the healthcare field, Sam worked as a civilian mechanical engineer for the U.S. Army's Aviation and Missile Command. Sam managed to test development programs for new avionics, weapons systems, and communication equipment for the Kiowa Warrior, Chinook, and Apache helicopter platforms.

Sam has a Master’s in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee.

Sam lives in Nashville with his wife and two children (both under the age of 4). In what spare time he has, he enjoys cycling, boating, and other outdoor activities.
