Saba Safdar BA, MA, PhD

Professor Safdar is an Associate Professor and the Director of the Centre for Cross-Cultural Research at the University of Guelph. She have been an active member of the IACCP since 2001, a Fellow of the International Academy for Intercultural Research (IAIR) since 2007, a member of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) since 2000, and past Chair and Member at Large of the International and Cross-Cultural section of the CPA. She has served as a member of the scientific committees for the IACCP conferences (2012-2013 & 2013-2014) and is a Fellow Representative and elected board member of IAIR from 2013 to present. Her area of research is acculturation and examination of adjustment of newcomers and minorities in a larger society.
