Sabine Schmid MD

Dr medical Sabine Schmid completed her medical studies at the University of Bern in 2008. In 2015 she obtained the specialist title for general internal medicine and in 2016 the specialist title for medical oncology at the Cantonal Hospital of St. Gallen.

From 2016 to 2019 she worked as a senior physician with a focus on thoracic malignancies and urogenital tumors at the Cantonal Hospital of St. Gallen. From 2019 to 2021 she completed a research stay and fellowship in thoracic malignancies at the renowned Princess Margaret Cancer Center in Toronto, Canada.

After a year as a senior physician with a special function at the Cantonal Hospital of St. Gallen with a focus on thoracic malignancies, she has now moved to Insel Gruppe. At the University Clinic for Medical Oncology, she is primarily responsible for thoracic malignancies.
