Sadri Ozan Sozer, M.D. is one of the most highly regarded plastic surgeons currently practicing in the U.S. He is an innovator and inventor of various cosmetic surgery and body contouring techniques, which have been featured in medical texts including Harvard Medical School. He is an avid contributor to industry journals and conferences with over 20 citations to his name. Doctor Sozer, who has been practicing for over 15 years, launched his practice from a small office in El Paso, Texas. He later opened the first incarnation of the El Paso Cosmetic Surgery center, the first private practice in the city allowed to use general anesthesia outside of a hospital setting. Sozer has received a multitude of awards, including the prestigious "Sherrell J. Aston Award" for the Best Presentation by a Candidate at the 2005 Annual Meeting of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, which focused on a proprietary procedure known as, "Autoprothesis Buttock Augmentation." This breakthrough procedure uses a patient's tissue to achieve the augmentation. He is also the first physician in El Paso to successfully perform a "free tissue transfer."
