Samantha Minc, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Cardiovascular-Thoracic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She earned her medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and completed an internship and her residency in general surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She completed her fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Dr. Minc has an interest in public health and is actively involved in research on understanding and minimizing the impact of healthcare disparities on amputation rates. She performs frequent outreach related to diabetes and limb loss. Dr. Minc’s special clinical interests include limb salvage, aortic surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, dialysis access, and open and endovascular (minimally invasive) techniques.
