Dr. Samuel A. Allen earned his Medical Degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996. He completed his residency at William Beaumont Hospital, in Royal Oak, MI, and his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.
He is the Assistant Director of Critical Care Services at Troy Beaumont Hospital and also serves as the Medical Director of the Surgical Progressive Care Unit and the physician champion for Gift of Life Michigan. His passion for Pulmonary Hypertension has allowed him to participate in many PAH research studies, support group meetings, and community outreach programs. He is a member of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, and board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Critical Care medicine.
