Samuel Lo Chen MD

Samuel Chen, MD, RPVI is a Vascular Surgeon at UC Irvine Health and an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the UC Irvine School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship in vascular surgery and endovascular therapy at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Prior to this, he performed his General Surgery Residency at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, finishing as Chief Resident in 2018. During his residency, he also completed a post-doctoral research fellowship focused on clinical outcomes and technical innovation in vascular and endovascular surgery. For his undergraduate education, he graduated with Honors from Stanford University and earned his MD from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine.
