Sanjiv Lakhanpal MD, FACS

Sanjiv Lakhanpal, MD, FACS is President & CEO of Center for Vein Restoration (CVR), the largest physician-led provider for the treatment of symptomatic venous insufficiency in the United States. He began treating patients with venous insufficiency in 2006. Soon after, he felt the need to focus his team’s energy on developing a practice that would specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of venous insufficiency, resulting in the founding of Center for Vein Restoration. As of the fall of 2016, the practice has enjoyed rapid and vibrant growth to nearly 70 locations in Alabama, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

In 2010, Dr. Lakhanpal founded a second company, Center for Vascular Medicine (CVM), which specializes in the prevention, monitoring and long-term treatment of Peripheral Arterial Disease (P.A.D.). He is a cardiovascular surgeon who is Board Certified in General Surgery, Cardiovascular Surgery and Thoracic Surgery and has served as Director of various Cardiac Surgery programs in the region.
