Sara Croca Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon in 2007. She completed the Internship of Specific Training in Internal Medicine at Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Norte – Hospital de Santa Maria in 2017. ) at the Center for Rheumatology, Division of Medicine, University College London, with the award in January 2017 of the Philosophy Doctor/Ph.D. degree by University College London for the doctoral thesis entitled: “Studies of Serology and Vascular Ultrasound in Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus – Focus on Cardiovascular Disease” (degree recognized by the University of Lisbon in May 2017).
Sara has been the Hospital Assistant in Internal Medicine at Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Norte since January 2018, performing duties in the Dedicated Medical Team of the Central Emergency Service since June 2018. Hospital Coordinator for Harvesting and Transplantation at Centro Hospitalar Universitário Lisboa Norte from November 2018 to the present date. Assistant Professor/ Invited Assistant of the Chair of Medicine 1 at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon from December 2015 to the present date.
