Sayonara Barbosa RN, Ph.D. Post-doctoral researcher at University of Michigan School of Nursing (2015); PhD in Health Sciences from Federal University of São Paulo (2005), with a Sandwich-Doctorate period of training at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing - United States of America; Master Degree in Nursing from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (1995). Specialist in Information and Computing in Health Care by the National School of Public Health (2000) and Intensive Care Nursing at the University of São Paulo (1990). Associate Professor at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - Department of Nursing and Graduate Program in Health Informatics. Experience in intensive care nursing and health information technology, acting on the following topics: nursing, intensive care, nursing care, nursing informatics, nursing, health and distance education through computer-mediated, patient safety.
