Dr Shahid Khan is a Consultant Physician at St Mary’s and Hammersmith Hospitals and a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London, having been appointed in 2007. He is a Consultant in Gastroenterology with Specialist Accreditation in Hepatology.

Dr Khan graduated from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals Medical School in 1994. He completed specialist training in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and General Medicine in 2007 in North-West London and in 2003 he was awarded a PhD from the University of London for studies in liver cancer. Dr Khan became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) in 2010.

Shahid Khan is a Consultant Hepatologist and Adjunct Reader at Imperial College London. He qualified from Guy’s Hospital Medical School in 1994 and underwent specialist training in the Northwest London.

He was awarded a PhD for studies on liver cancer from the University of London in 2003. Dr. Khan is the lead author on the British guidelines for cholangiocarcinoma and co-author for the ILCA guidelines. He has published extensively, including original research articles, reviews and book chapters. Dr. Khan is also Director of Clinical Studies at St. Mary’s Hospital and Admissions Tutor panel for Imperial College London Medical School.
