Shaun Maher RN

Shaun spent the first 20 years of his career working as a specialist nurse in intensive care. In 2008 he became a Scottish Quality and Safety Fellow and has a special interest in person-centred approaches to systems and developing ways to measure and apply this concept. In his current role he provides strategic support to the Scottish Government to support progress towards Scotland’s person-centred ambition and the development of Quality Improvement capability and capacity in the public sector.
He is also a Principal Educator with NHS Education for Scotland where his main role is divided between supporting people from across the public sector to apply quality improvement methods in practice and coaching support for senior leaders.
