Sheila Malmanis LE, LPN

Sheila Malmanis is a licensed aesthetician, and a former L.P.N., where she was licensed in the state of Tennesse. She received her initial training for aesthetics in Langhorn, PA in 1993. Her love for skincare, new technology and technical ingredients, encouraged her to pursue her passion for skincare and proceed with the development of DERMA MD®, founded in 2001 and based in Arizona. She now has 30+ years of sales and marketing experience, and was sole owner of her aesthetic salon in 1994. Wanting to know more about skincare, she branched out to obtain a more managerial position and was promoted to Vice President of a former skin care manufacturer in California.
Her primary responsibility within her own company is product development. Sheila works with chemists nationwide to assist her in the formulations of all DERMA MD® products by incorporating concentrated levels of anti-aging ingredients, new technologies, and staying abreast of new ingredients. Thus, offering PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS FOR PROFESSIONAL RESULTS!
Sheila lectures twice yearly with Age Management, www.agemed.org. The conferences are for both physicians and skin care professionals, in which they obtain CME credits. She also lectures at multiple aesthetic conferences throughout the United States, and internationally.
She has been published in the UK Medical Cosmetic Journal and Healthy Aging Magazine, and has sat on the advisory board of Healthy Aging Magazine. Members of NAPW (National Association of Professional Women), Who’s Who of Cambridge eWomen Network™, and the United Aesthetics Organization (UAO).
