Shyam Prasad Aravindaksha BDS,MDS,PGDMLS

Dr. Aravindaksha earned his Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery from India. He then went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training in India followed by a senior residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the All India Institute Of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. He then came to the US where he completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia in 2010. He was awarded the Sam Farish best resident teaching award in 2008. He also won the best research project award at the AAOMS Clinical Trial Methods Course, 2012. He currently is the Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship program at UDMSOD. He actively participates in imparting didactic and clinical courses to the undergraduate students and the OMFS and AEGD residents.
