Shyam Verma MBBS, DVD, FRCP, FAAD

Dr. Shyam B. Verma is a private practitioner in Vadodara, India. He is a familiar name in international dermatology circles by the virtue of approximately 200 lectures around the world. He has about 130 scientific publications on clinical rarities, sociocultural dermatology, and the field of superficial dermatophytosis, especially against the backdrop of topical steroid abuse. Dr. Verma has been on the board of directors of the ISD for the past ten years. He also has the distinction of being one of the two International Board Members of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology. He has been the Founding Editor of the Indian Dermatology Online Journal and has had several interesting assignments in IADVL, the national dermatology association. His hobbies include swimming, photography, and traveling, all of which he looks forward to zealously pursuing while participating in the ICD in Australia.
