Stephanie Mcgregor MD, PhD

Dr. McGregor is an associate professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, where she specializes in breast and gynecologic surgical pathology. She is also the faculty lead of the Translational Science Biocore (TSB) BioBank within the UW Carbone Comprehensive Cancer Center (UWCCC) and Director of Frozen Sections.

She earned her medical degree through the Medical Scientist Training Program at the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago in Chicago, IL. As part of this program, she also obtained a Ph.D. in cancer biology. After completing this program, she stayed at the University of Chicago to pursue a residency in anatomic pathology and subsequent fellowship in breast and gynecologic surgical pathology. She is certified by the American Board of Pathology.
