Stephen Edward Lemos MD, PhD

Dr. Stephen Lemos leads the DMC Sports Medicine Program, and serves as chief of orthopaedic surgery of DMC Surgery Hospital at Madison Heights, Michigan. Supported by an expert team, Dr. Lemos performs many advanced orthopaedic and sports-focused surgical procedures. Dr. Lemos holds a fellowship in Sports Medicine and has published articles in numerous clinical journals including the American Journal of Sports Medicine.

Dr. Stephen Lemos of Detroit Medical Center has participated in multiple research projects and received a research grant from the Foundation for Sports Medicine Education and Research. Detroit Doctor Stephen Lemos is a member of the Undersea Medical Society, Aerospace Medical Society, American Medical Association, Wilderness Medical Society, American Association for the Advancement of Science and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
