Dr. Sudha Rao Chandrashekhar, MD is a Consultant Pediatric Endocrinologist at The Jupiter Hospital. Sudha Rao Chandrashekhar completed her MD in Paediatrics (Gold medalist) from G. R. Medical College, Gwalior, MP, and went on to pursue Fellowship in Paediatric Endocrinology from Royal Children's Hospital, University of Manchester, Manchester, UK. She has been a visiting fellow, Observer at the Department of Paediatric Endocrinology at The Royal Children Hospital, Melbourne, Australia; Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and The Middlesex Hospital, University College of London, London, UK and Queen Mary Hospital, Hong Kong. Dr. Sudha Rao Chandrashekhar is a well-practiced Pediatric Endocrinologist with more than 19 years of experience in Pediatric Endocrinology and more than 27 years of experience in General Pediatrics and Neonatology. She is currently a Professor, In charge of the Unit and Chief Division of Pediatric Endocrinology & Neonatology, at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Parel, Mumbai. Consultant Pediatric Endocrinology, Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai. Teacher and Examiner for MD, DCH students of Maharashtra State University of Health Sciences, Nashik. 

Dr.Rao has more than 20 Research papers in various National and International Journals. She has been invited as a Guest speaker at many State, National, and International conferences. She has organized numerous national and state-level workshops and CMEs in Pediatric Endocrinology and Neonatology. She has authored a chapter each in the Textbook of Paediatrics and of Paediatric Endocrinology. She is the editor of the IAP Specialty Series- Pediatric Endocrinology and Practical Pediatric Endocrinology.
