Susan Lynn Donner MD

Dr. Susan L. Donner a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst in private practice in Woodland Hills, California. For more than twenty years, I have treated patients, couples and families from infancy to 64 years of age. I use a holistic and integrated approach to the assessment and treatment of mental health problems that combines a number of different perspectives, including medical and evidence-based treatments along with psychoanalytic and developmental theory and techniques.

Dr. Susan L. Donner a addition to my clinical work, I am an Associate Clinical Professor at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine in the Departments of Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry, where I teach professionals in training, including medical students, psychiatry residents and child psychiatry fellows. I also teach post-graduate students psychoanalytic theory and technique at the New Center for Psychoanalysis (NCP) where I am Chair of the Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Program, Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Clinic, and Senior Teaching Faculty. I am also a Training Analyst and a Child, Adolescent and Adult Supervising Analyst at NCP and at the Western Consortium of Child and Adolescent Psychoanalysts.
