Susan Marie Fernandes PA-C, MHP, LP.D

Dr. Susan Fernandes is a Clinical Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Medicine, divisions of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiovascular Medicine at Stanford University. She assumed the role of Program Director for the Adult Congenital Heart Program at Stanford in 2012. Dr. Fernandes is a nationally recognized leader in clinical and health policy research in the field of congenital heart disease and has published and presented extensively on the topic. She has dedicated her career to improving access to specialized cardiac care for adolescents and adult survivors of congenital heart disease. She serves on the Adult Congenital Pediatric Cardiology Council of the American College of Cardiology and is the Co-Chair of the Council’s Adult Congenital Heart Disease Working Group. She is also a select member of the International Society for Adult Congenital Heart Disease Research Working Group.
