Dr. Suzanne Kaseta is the Chief Quality Officer for Ambulatory Care for Boston Children’s Health Physicians (BCHP) and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at New York Medical College. The BCHP practice network consists of over 60 practice locations and 350 providers in the lower Hudson Valley of New York state and neighboring counties in Connecticut. As the healthcare industry transforms from pay-for-performance to value-based purchasing, Dr. Kaseta works closely with primary care providers and sub-specialists to improve performance and achieve high quality outcomes across BCHP. As the Medical Director of the Quality Management Department and the physician leader of Patient-Centered Medical Home and Patient-Centered Specialty Practice transformation at BCHP, Dr. Kaseta’s goal is to establish a culture of quality through collaboration with leaders, physicians, clinical, and non-clinical staff which leads to outstanding patient care and high levels of patient satisfaction.
Dr. Kaseta is a pediatrician at Boston Children’s Health Physicians/Washingtonville Pediatrics, a large pediatric practice located in New York. In 2013, Dr. Kaseta created the Health and Wellness Counseling Center at Washingtonville Pediatrics, making the practice a place where patients and their families are provided not only the best pediatric medical care but also excellent psychological care and social support. Dr. Kaseta believes that addressing BH needs in primary care can help attain the quadruple aim of improving patient outcomes, reducing health care costs, improving patient experience and decreasing provider burnout. In 2018, Dr. Kaseta developed the Integrated Behavioral Health Program in BCHP PCMH practices.
