Sweta Prakash Adatia MBBS, MD, DNB

Dr Sweta Adatia, MD Medicine, DNB Neurology ( Stroke Specialist) is a very young and dynamic Neurologist who did her schooling from St Xaviers high school Jamnagar, Gujarat and bagged first rank all throughout her school career. She choose to pursue medical profession. She joined MBBS in the year 1997 in a very prestigious medical college M P Shah medical college, Jamnagar, India. She cleared her MBBS in the year 2003 with gold medals in various subjects of Physiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Gynecology, and Internal Medicine. She choose internal medicine as her post graduate subject and successfully pursued the same from Guru Gobind Singh hospital, Jamnagar in the Year 2006 again with a gold medal. Being interested in the structure and function of brain, she worked in Amrita Institute of Medical Science, Cochin as a senior registrar in the department of Neurology. During this time she authored a book Viva Voce in Neurology containing about 1000 questions in neurology catering to the needs of the MD/MBBS students undergoing their exams in the subject of neurology. It was published by an eminent publisher in Mumbai. 

She then pursued DNB in neurology at Lilavati hospital and research center Mumbai. She completed her super-specialty course in the year 2010. Pain and stroke were the two sub specialty fields that were dear to her heart during her super-specialty training. She got trained for acute cerebrovascular stroke management at Foothills medical hospital, University of Calgary, Alberta. She is also trained in Neuro and biofeedback as a therapeutic modality for various neurological diseases from California, USA. She has a lot of research experience in the field of neurology with many national and international papers. She has authored a popular article, GROW MORE GREY CELLS in the health and nutrition magazine published by Magna publications, Mumbai.
