Tapan Patel MBBS, MRCP, DipDerm

Dr. Tapan Patel is an Aesthetic Specialist Director at PHI Clinic in the UK. Dr. Tapan is a highly experienced and skilled doctor, practicing cosmetics since 2001 after graduating from the University of London in 1996. 

Dr. Tapan is viewed as a key expert in the field of cosmetic injectables, and has been featured in the media as well as industry publications - Daily Mail, Mirror, Aesthetics Journal, This Morning, Brides Magazine, Marie Claire, Bazaar, Tatler, How To Lose Weight Well, The Telegraph, BBC, Channel 4, and more. 

He is one of six Global Key Opinion Leaders for Allergan and has worked alongside a plethora of exemplary professionals over the course of his medical career, including Jean Carruthers, Arthur Swift, and Mauricio de Maio. He is currently an approved member of The Royal College of Physicians, The British College of Aesthetic Medicine, The American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, The Independent Doctors Forum, and The British Medical Association.

After founding and directing the successful VIVA Clinic for nearly 14 years, Dr. Tapan set up PHI Clinic in the center of Harley Street in 2014, as well as founding his training academy, Academy 102. He has since gone on to create eMASTR, a comprehensive online training resource for cosmetic injectors. He also regularly lectures on the national and international stage at cosmetic events, including CCR Expo, where he has performed his Getting Started in Aesthetics seminar twice, as well as teaching practitioners around the globe.

As well as working with burn and scar victims like Darren Pidgeon, Tulsi Vagjiani, and Katie Piper, his charity initiative, PHI Lanthropy, continues to do great work with various causes, recently raising over £60,000 for the Yezidi Emergency Support charity, founded by 2018 Women of the Year Shine A Light award winner, Anne Norona.
