Tayyar Ozkan MD

Dr. Tayyar Alp Ozkan, MD, Ph.D. is a Clinical Associate Professor at the Acibadem Healthcare Group. Dr. Tayyar Alp Ozkan completed his basic medical education at Istanbul Medical Faculty (Capa Medicine – 2004) after his primary education in Amasya and secondary education in Istanbul. After the specialization program at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Urology, he received the title of Urology specialist in 2011. During his residency training, Prof. Dr. She worked as a clinical observer on Female Urology at the Cleveland Clinic (USA) under the supervision of Raymond Rackley.

He worked as a clinical fellow in Urooncology and Laparoscopic Urology at the Urology Clinic of Ostfildern-Ruit (Esslingen, Germany) in 2010 after his studies at the Charité-Universitätsmedizin Urology Clinic (Berlin, Germany) with the 2009 Clinical Fellowship Fellowship of the European Association of Urology.

In the field of Robotic Surgery at the Global Robotics Institute (Florida, USA) in 2011 and 2012, Dr. He was a clinical observer under the supervision of Vipul Patel. In 2015, he successfully completed the European Board of Urology examination of the European Urology Qualification Board and received the title of Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU).

Today, he is still the editor of the Urology and Statistics Department of the Kocaeli Medical Journal, the journal of Urologic Surgery, and the Journal of Neurooncology. Between 2013-2019, he served as the Secretary of the Urooncology Association Kidney, Adrenal, and Testicular Cancer Working Group. As of May 2019, he has been working as a board member of the Urooncology Association.
