Theodore Steiner MD

Dr. Steiner is researcher at the Immunity & Infection Research Centre, associate head of Division of Infectious Disease, and an associate member of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at UBC. His research interests focus on the inflammatory response to the flagellin from enteroaggregative E. coli (EAEC), an emerging diarrheal pathogen. His clinical expertise is in general consultative infectious diseases, with a particular interest in infectious diarrhea and tropical medicine.
