Dr. Thierry Burtin is an ophthalmologist, an eye surgeon who specializes in surgery called the anterior segment of the eye. His surgical activity therefore mainly concerns myopia surgery, cataract surgery, corneal transplants, glaucoma surgery, and conjunctival surgery (pterygium). After a 6-year medical degree, he began a 4-year ophthalmology specialization and then was a clinical director at the Pitie-Salpetriere Hospital's Faculty of Medicine for 2 years.
Currently, he is mainly active in a private practice in a medical practice and operates mainly in 3 private clinics. He also kept a regular hospital activity. A member of various learned societies, he regularly participates in national and international conferences specialized in the surgery of the anterior segment as a speaker.
