Thomas Miller MD is Chief Medical Officer of University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics. His duties include managing over 70 executive and sectional medical directors and working with academic departments in the school of medicine to improve patient satisfaction, safety, and care quality. Dr. Miller is involved in providing clinical physician leadership in areas of ambulatory growth and in planning for provision of patient services under the Accountable Care Act and managed health care contracts.
Dr. Miller received his MD from George Washington University in 1988 and completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Utah in 1991. He has been a member of the Division of General Medicine since 1992.
