T. Sean Lynch specializes in the nonoperative and operative treatment of hip and knee disorders in athletes of all levels at ColumbiaDoctors Orthopedics. He is an expert in hip surgery and knee ligament reconstruction with minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques. His particular clinical interests include injuries of the ACL, knee articular cartilage and the meniscus. He also specializes in labral injuries of the hip and uses advanced arthroscopic techniques to treat this ever-increasing problem.
Dr. Lynch is a past competitive athlete who now serves as a team physician for local sports teams. His goals are to get his patients back to the activities they love with a team-oriented and personalized approach. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, he received a B.S. in Biology from Georgetown University as well as his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He was a resident in orthopedic surgery at the Northwestern University in Chicago. During his time in residency, he was active in research as well as medical student and resident education. He was selected for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Alan Levine Scholars in Orthopaedic Graduate Medical Education Scholarship as one of two residents across the country to attend the AAOS Educators Course.
