Thomas Wilke PhD

Prof Thomas Wilke has 20 years of experience in leading and conducting German and international real-world evidence studies. He brings a wealth of experience to the team with respect to the European market including respective HTA/payor requirements, (claims) database analyses, chart reviews, prospective studies, patient-reported outcomes as well as patient preference studies. Prof Wilke has a well-known reputation for conducting claims data analyses in Germany for various indications.

Thomas holds a position as a Professor at the University of Wismar (GER) and managing director of the University-affiliated research institute IPAM. In addition, he acts as Principal Scientist for the Cytel RWE group. He has been involved in >100 real-world evidence studies, both prospective and retrospective (e.g., health insurance analyses), as a principal investigator at Cytel/Ingress-Health. He works with internal experts to develop statistical and economic models to support data analyses. Thomas is the author of a number of health economics papers published in various national and international journals.
