Dr. Timo Siepmann is an attending physician at the Dresden University Stroke Center, University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus in Dresden, Germany. He is the Director of the Master’s Program in Clinical Research at Dresden International University and Site Director of the Principles and Practice of Clinical Research Program provided by Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He is also the Project Director of the Model Medical Degree Program at Technical University Dresden.
Dr. Siepmann completed his medical education and training in clinical neurology and neurological research both in international universities in Europe and the United States. His professional passion is tied to his commitment to patient care, advancing clinical and basic neuroscience with a focus on the development of novel techniques to diagnose and treat neurovascular disorders as well as disorders of the autonomic nervous system. He is active in the discovery and international collaboration in research to elucidate new insights in neuroscience and connect neuroscience with complementary disciplines in an internationally collaborative approach.
Dr. Siepmann is dedicated to developing new ways of medical and research education integrating collaborative and digital learning strategies. He extensively published his scholarly work and received multiple research grants and international science awards.
