Timothy J. Falla PhD

Dr. Timothy J. Falla is the Chief Scientific Officer at Rodan + Fields, responsible for the company’s product innovation pipeline, product development, scientific brand equity, and defining the strategy to achieve our leadership position in the global premium skincare market. For more than 25 years Dr. Falla has worked in the discovery and development of prescription drugs, OTC dermatology products, and skincare products. His work has resulted in more than 20 patents and patent applications and over 100 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Falla holds a BS in Applied Biology from the University of Wales, Cardiff, and a Ph.D. in Molecular Epidemiology from Oxford University and the University of Wales, Cardiff. He conducted his post-doctoral research at the Antimicrobial Research Centre at the University of Leeds, UK, and the Department of Microbiology at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
